Blair has been in the Fire Protection Industry for 8 years and has a passion to ensure things are completed right the first time.
Blair believes being part of the Fire Protection Industry and working with in the wider building industry is very rewarding, as Fire Protection has an important place and purpose when it comes to saving lives.
Blair started out learning how to prep areas for intumescent painting as well as mixing and applying intumescent paint to a variety of surfaces and structures in the commercial sector. At the same time, he trained as a Passive fire Installer and learned his craft in the Bay of Plenty working on many different sites.
Over his career Blair has travelled up and down the country and has worked as far away as Timaru installing Passive Fire systems for many clients.
Blair has been with Simplyfire now for two years starting as a Passive Fire installer and then progressed by taking over the role of our Bay of Plenty Supervisor.
Blair’s contributions have helped grow the Bay of Plenty team to 6 team members now, as from when he started in the business it was only himself and the then Supervisor.
Blair believes in his growth and development, and he values the opportunity provided by SimplyFire to further his own personal development, leadership and skills.
